A4 - Transnational project meeting in Italy

The Transnational Project Meeting held in Foggia, Italy (17–19 July 2025) represented a key milestone in the implementation of the PRO-VES project. As the final official meeting before the administrative and financial closure, it ensured coordination, consolidation of results, and strategic alignment among all partners.

One of the main achieved results was the comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of the project’s overall progress. Each partner presented national achievements, lessons learned, and challenges encountered during implementation. This facilitated a shared understanding of project outcomes and strengthened the coherence of the partnership. The structured exchange of good practices contributed to improving internal coordination and refining final reporting procedures.

Another important result was the clarification and alignment of financial management procedures. Partners reviewed budget execution, eligibility of expenses, and supporting documentation requirements. This process ensured uniformity in financial reporting and reduced potential risks related to administrative compliance. Clear responsibilities were established for the preparation of the final financial and narrative reports, contributing to a smooth project closure phase.

The meeting also resulted in a thorough evaluation of dissemination activities and the impact of national campaigns promoting volunteering in first aid and emergency response. Partners analyzed quantitative and qualitative indicators, confirming that the dissemination objectives were met and, in many cases, exceeded. This collective reflection strengthened the understanding of the project’s community impact and reinforced the importance of sustainability strategies.

A significant achieved result was the development of a common sustainability framework. Partners agreed on concrete measures to continue using and promoting the intellectual outputs developed within the project, including the psycho-social education guide, motivational materials, and training resources. Plans were discussed for integrating these materials into future training sessions, local initiatives, and new Erasmus+ project proposals.

The meeting also strengthened transnational cooperation. Face-to-face interaction enhanced trust, improved communication flows, and consolidated the partnership network. It created a solid foundation for future collaboration in related areas such as civic engagement, non-formal education, emergency preparedness, and volunteer development.

Overall, the Transnational Meeting in Italy ensured administrative clarity, reinforced strategic direction, validated achieved results, and strengthened the sustainability and long-term impact of the PRO-VES project at European level.

Work package n°3 - Psycho-Social Education For Volunteers From The Emergency System

1 WP3-A1 - Cop 1.png

A3.1 - Development of a psycho-social education guide

Emergency system volunteers are not merely participants in intervention efforts; they are often the foundational pillars of their communities during crises. The impact that these volunteers have within their communities is profound and can lead to significant transformations. One of their most essential roles is establishing a climate of trust within the community. People tend to feel vulnerable and uncertain in times of crisis, but the presence of volunteers who can communicate with empathy and provide emotional support helps reduce anxiety and fear. A community that feels it can rely on volunteers in times of need is better prepared to face emergency situations.

Emergency system volunteers must be capable of communicating effectively under tense circumstances.............
