About

The project "Promotion of volunteering in providing first aid in emergency situations" aims to address a critical need within our communities: improving emergency response capabilities through the engagement and development of volunteers. A quick and effective response in those first critical moments can mean the difference between life and death, and through this project, we aim to provide support and training to volunteers who are eager to play an active role in saving lives.

In many communities, emergency systems are often overwhelmed and may not be able to respond promptly to all requests. This is why the involvement of well-trained volunteers becomes essential to ensure effective and rapid intervention during crises. Our goal is to raise the level of preparedness among citizens in delivering first aid and to promote volunteerism as an integral part of the emergency response framework.

A life saved is the greatest reward for the knowledge and application of first aid.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the emergency response capacity of local communities by increasing the number of well-trained and motivated volunteers. We aim to promote the importance of first aid and inspire as many people as possible to become part of a community support network. Through the training and preparation of volunteers, we seek to contribute to saving lives and improving the quality of emergency services provided.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create safer communities where every citizen has the knowledge and skills to provide first aid in crisis situations. We aim to make volunteering in emergency response a common and respected practice, and through this project, we seek to strengthen collaboration between organizations at both national and international levels. We believe in a world where people are more aware, better prepared, and more united in the face of any emergency.

Our Results

The results we aim to achieve through the implementation of the project are:

  • Development of skills and competencies for 40 emergency system volunteers, who participated in experience exchanges, thereby contributing to the improvement of the quality of emergency services provided within the community.

  • Enhancement of stress management skills and effective communication among volunteers, patients, and medical staff through training sessions attended by over 100 volunteers.

  • Creation of a Psycho-Social Education Guide to support volunteers in managing stress and handling difficult situations they may encounter during interventions.

  • Conducting awareness and promotional campaigns on volunteerism and first aid, reaching at least 6,500 people, with the goal of increasing citizen awareness and engagement.

  • Raising awareness among 350 individuals in the local community about the importance of volunteerism in emergency situations, through the organization of 5 multiplier events.

  • Strengthening the capacity of involved organizations to work at a transnational and intersectoral level, through the exchange of experiences and best practices between organizations and participation in international events.

Through these outcomes, our project has contributed to building an effective support network and promoting a culture of solidarity and responsibility towards others. We continue to collaborate with our partners to inspire and motivate more people to join our cause, creating safer and more united communities.
